Stewardship is the responsible, grateful management of everything God has entrusted to us, recognizing that all blessings we receive, including our talents, finances, relationships and creation itself, belong to God. We are merely caretakers for using them wisely for His glory and building His kingdom.
There are three main components to Stewardship. In order to be a “Steward in Good Standing” we are asked to give to the church our time, talents and treasure.
According to Holy Trinity Cathedral’s by-laws, parishioners are required to complete an annual pledge card and make a financial contribution toward that pledge. Being a “Steward in Good Standing” enables a parishioner to vote in Parish Assembly meetings, hold a ministry leadership position or run for the Parish Council.
Consists of attending Divine services and participating in the life of the church through our various ministries.
Encompasses using our God given talents to assist the church.
To make an annual financial pledge to the church, giving of our first fruits.
Nehemiah 2:18
Either complete and submit the digital pledge card here or complete the paper pledge card and return to the church office. A new pledge card must be submitted annually.
We encourage our parishioners to use ShelbyNext for your easy, automated giving. Whether you choose to give weekly, monthly or even one single payment for your entire pledge, ShelbyNext can be fully customized to fit your needs.
Parishioners can opt for ACH (checking account) payments to come directly out of your account. ACH fees are only 1% (+42 cents) per transaction. Credit card fees are 3% (+42 cents) per transaction.
Parishioners may opt to contribute by cash or check. Be sure to write “Stewardship” on the check memo line. Place cash in an envelope marked with “stewardship” and the parishioner’s name.
Once your annual pledge card is submitted and a financial contribution has been made toward that pledge, you are now a Holy Trinity Steward. Thank you! We couldn’t do it without you.
